At least one particular stretch (24-26) of the flow path (12) is formed by transversely squeezable tubing (14) extending through all the squeezer valves (8,10). The squeezer valves are spaced apart along the tubing. The part of the tubing between them forms a sluice chamber (44) which is separated or connected from/to one of the other ends (24,26) of the tubing when the one squeezer valve is closed and the other opened or vice versa or both together. The intermediate piece of tubing has at least one side fluid pipe connection (50,52) for the inflow or outflow of fluid. At least one end of the tubing has a flange (22,28) for joining the tubing to another appliance.
