The door is used in the vehicle and the door body frame consists of a number of frame sections (8,9,10,11). The hinge-side (8) and the lock-side (9) end sections of the frame are made up of two half shells connected by weld joints. Both the half shells are provided with edge sections to form window guide rails (16). A support for the window winding mechanism (23) is fitted between the horizontal bottom and top frame sections (10,11).
