There is provided an ester compound represented by the formula I: wherein R1 is a methyl group or a hydrogen atom; R2 is a C1-6 haloalkyl group; and R3 is a pyrethroid acid residue, an agent for controlling noxious organisms containing the same as active ingredient and an intermediate for producing the same.
