Decimation filter with selectable decimation ratio

The separate normalised coefficient signal is prepared at respectively one output of a multiple of outlets (12). The coefficient generator (10) prepares the signal as a reaction to a set (M) of externally derived selection signals for a decimation ratio. An accumulator (100) is coupled with the coefficient generator, for the reception of each normalised coefficient signal produced in it. The accumulator is also set up to receive of at least one stream of quantised electric signals. So that from this stream, by means of masking with corresp. signals from the amount of the received normalised coefficient signals, forms several accumulator output signals.
