Thermal energy transfer system

The energy transfer system includes storage to even out seasonal discrepancies. It includes a heat transmission line (3) from a producer to a first conducting zone (4) of an aquifer at great depth. A line (5) runs from the receiver (2) to the first conducting zone. A cold return line from the receiver goes to a second conducting zone of the aquifer. The two conducting zones are between the producer and the receiver, and spaced out from each other. These zones may be underground cavities in rock. They may be hydraulically created by the "hot dry rock" process, with the creation of flow paths. Their ends may be close against each other.
