The module comprises a rigid self carrying block (1), elongated in a longitudinal direction, which rests on the ground. It has a floor, vertical walls delimiting service spaces in which are kitchen and bathroom equipment connected by conduits to external services, and a roof. Side wings (2,3) have a floor resting on the ground fixed by an edge onto a longitudinal side of the block. A cylindrical convex shell (32) is fixed by a longitudinal edge (33) to the side of the block above wing floor, and by a second edge (35) to the floor. Two end walls each extend vertically from an end edge of the shell to the corresponding end edge of the floor and join to the walls of the block. Each living space (47,50) is adjacent to the block and limited opposite it and towards the top by the wing shell and towards the bottom by the floor of the same wing. Each end wall limits a living space in the longitudinal direction.
