An ophthalmic lens consisting of an organic glass substrate, a hard scratchproof coating, a primary shockproof coating layer, and an anti-reflective coating, wherein the surface of said substrate is covered with said scratchproof coating and the primary shockproof coating layer is inserted between said scratchproof coating and the anti-reflective coating. A method for making said lens is also disclosed.
