The machine has a central section (100) supporting a bank of washing nozzles and one or two side extensions (201, 202) which are connected to the central section and can be opened or closed by a motor (V1, V2). The side and central sections are joined by a connection (310, 320) with an integrated valve which is simultaneously operated by the motor when the side extensions are opened or closed. The connection (310) has a component (320) attached to the end of the central section (100) which has an opening which supplies the washing liquid (324, 325). A second component (321) is attached to the side extension (201) and has an opening through which the pressurised washing liquid (337, 338 passes). There is a connection (500) and the component (321) rotates around an axis (501) so that an opening (332, 333) from the pistons in the first component are aligned with a hole (341, 342) in the second component (321).
