The heat exchanger has a bundle of tubes (1-1 to 1-n) for flow of a heat carrying fluid. The tubes open to a header (2,3) having inlet (4) and outlet (24) tubes. The header can be mounted in a distribution panel (17) with orifices (23-1 to 23-n) at the ends of the tubes. The orifices can have a defined cross-section to control the flow of fluid through them.
