The subject of the present invention is a device for identification and location of mobile units (1) moving in a given place (7), including points or areas (12) of use, of presentation or of distribution of products or services characteristic of the said place, which device includes identifiers-transmitters (2) placed on the said mobile units (1), fixed readers-transmitters (3) situated at certain defined locations of the place in question (7) and compatible with the said identifiers-transmitters, and at least one centralised management unit (6) receiving and sending all the information from all the said readers-transmitters. The said centralised management unit (6) is programmed to allow reconstruction, at any moment, of the path (8) of each of the mobile units in the place (7) in question, and to allow analysis of all the paths of all the mobile units (1) with respect to the layout of the place (7) and of the characteristic points (12) of the latter for the purpose of any specific desired statistical processing. <IMAGE> |
