<p>An adjuster (20) to establish and maintain tension in a cable system including a reference body (21), and a ratchet member (22) having a succession of ratchet teeth (30) each with a pass face (31) and an abutment face (32). Two pawl members (45, 60) engage the ratchet member (22), both permitting passage of the ratchet member (22) in the same direction. A flexible linkage (75) anchored to the body and joining the pawl members (45, 60) multiplies the speed of one pawl versus the other along the ratchet member (22) so as to maintain and adjust the residual tension in the cable system when the system is actuated and released.</p> |
