In a device for cleaning cavities, especially tooth cavities (1) and tooth root channels (2), an alternating pressure generator (9) is directly connected to the cavity (1, 2) to be cleaned via a connecting line. To the alternating pressure generator (9) are connected a supply line (14) and a discharge line (19) having narrowed sections (17, 18) as flow resistors, through which a rinsing solution (16) flows. As the rinsing solution (16) flows through, the alternating pressure generator (9) can give rise to cavitation in the cavity (1, 2) with the generation and implosion of gas bubbles so that microstructures in the cavity (1, 2) can also be cleaned. This device is distinguished by simple mechanical construction and small size. |
