The invention relates to a shock absorber to fasten ski bindings on a ski having an upper strap. In this shock absorber, in order to enlarge the volume of the damping layer and at the same time to enlarge the distance between the bearing surface of the ski boot and the upper side (1a) of the ski (1), the invention makes provision for each bushing (2) to have an annular flange (2b) on its outside, which flange bears on the upper side (1a) of the ski (1) when the bushing (2) is screwed into the ski (1), the height of the projecting part of the bushing (2) corresponding at least to the desired minimum distance between the baseplate (8) of the ski binding and the upper side (1a) of the ski (1). <IMAGE> |
