PURPOSE:To decrease the capacity of a capacitor, by adopting an intercapacitative voltage control system in which the rotating speed of a motor is taken into a parameter. CONSTITUTION:The output of a transformer 1 is supplied to a motor 6 through a rectifier 2, a voltage and current control means 3, a capacitor bank 4 and a motor drive assembly 5. In a voltage and current control device 8' the voltage command between capacitor banks VREF is worked out, using a function generator 15 and an intercapacitative allowable maximum voltage setter 17. Depending on the deviation between the voltage command intercapacitor banks VREF and the output from a voltage level converter 10 between capacitor banks and in accordance with the charge current feedback signal the current control means 3 is controlled. The capacity of a capacitor can thereby be decreased. |
