摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a pigment-contg. binder material layer and to obviate the generation of the degradation in reflection brightness of glass beads by completely removing the vapor deposited metallic films deposited by evaporation in a gap between glass beads. CONSTITUTION:A protective film 1 and a supporting film 5 are partially connected by connecting walls 6 formed by melting and forming of the supporting film 5. The inside enclosed by walls 6 forms hermetically sealed independent small block empty chambers 7. The upper hemispherical surfaces of the glass beads 2 half embedded in the upper layer side 5A of the supporting film 5 are exposed into the empty chambers 7 on the inside surfaces thereof. The lower hemispherical surfaces of the beads 2 are the reflection surfaces covered by the vapor deposited metallic films 4. The vapor deposited metallic films on the lower hemispherical surfaces of the glass beads 2 are formed by vacuum vapor deposition of metallic aluminum and are so constituted that the vapor deposited metallic films do not exist on the surface of the supporting film 5. Then, there is no need for providing pigment-contg. binder layers.
