PURPOSE:To restore a defect when the defect is found at a relatively later stage related to a method of restoring the defect in a display device and the display device restored by such a manner. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted so that in the display device provided with plural display parts, a part of a beam outgoing from a normal display part (normal pixel) 34 is led to the course of the beam to be emitted from an abnormal display part (unlighted defective pixel, or lighting defective pixel) 36. Thus, a spectroscopic means 30b is arranged on the course of the beam to be emitted from the normal display part (normal pixel) 34, and a mirror 32b is arranged on the course of the beam to be emitted from the display part (unlighted defective pixel, or defective lighting pixel) 36. |
