<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an existent software to be operated while using mouse data generated by operating a mouse from disabling the operation because of the absence of the mouse at a personal computer provided with a data input function due to a pen, especially, at a device to which the mouse can not be connected. CONSTITUTION:Pen data are stored in a pen data register 2, the pen data are read from the pen data register by a data conversion processing part 6, and the read pen data are stored in a pen coordinate saving memory 9. Then, the moving amounts of the coordinates X and Y of the pen are calculated by calculating the difference between the Contents of the pen coordinate saving memory, where the last X-and Y-coordinate data of the pen are stored, and the coordinates and Y of the pen read from the Pen data register 2 this time, and the calculated moving amounts of the coordinates X and Y of the pen are converted to mouse data by a data conversion table 7 and written in a mouse data register 3.</p> |
