<p>PURPOSE:To enable the change of an application program without stopping a control function by providing two application program memories for storing application programs. CONSTITUTION:An application memory 20 with the same configuration as an application memory 3 is newly provided. Any one of application memories 3 and 20 is defined as the area of the application program to be used for process control, the other application memory is allocated to the area of the new application program to be maintained, and a switching means 23 is provided to switch one and the other application memories after the new application program is written in the area of the other application program. While control operation is executed by using the program in one application memory, the application program to be changed is divided, successively stored in the other application memory and switched to the new program corresponding to a memory switching signal.</p> |
