PURPOSE:To recover fat and oil more efficient by a method wherein a multitude of ceramic balls are received rotatably with free-plays in a main body case, whose front and rear are breathing surfaces which is provided with a drain hole at the lower part thereof, while the main body case is installed so that the breathing surfaces become vertical or slant. CONSTITUTION:A multitude of ceramics balls 6 are received rotatably with free-plays into a main body case 1, having breathing surfaces (a fore plate 2 and a U-shaped rear plate 3 are made of mesh plates 5, 7 of stainless steel respectively, for example) on the front and rear faces of a flat type box body. The angle of installation of the main body case 1 is set so that the breathing surfaces become vertical or slanted condition while a drain port 9 is provided at the lower part of the main body case 1. Accordingly, fat and oil are adhered to the whole periphery of balls 9 evenly and caught efficiently due to the increase of surface area which is caused by the fine recesses and projections on the surface of ceramics. Further, dropping of the fat and oil due to the gravity thereof is promoted whereby the oil can be recovered efficiently through a discharging hole 9. |
