PURPOSE:To lower the wiring density and the cost by setting the distance between the cross-sectional centers of adjacent photo-generating elements, having average cross-sectional radius R, within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:Assuming the average cross-sectional radius of a solar cell element having circular cross-section is R, the distance between the centers of circular cross-section of adjacent solar cell elements is set in the range of 2.142R-2.828R. Consequently, sufficient power can be generated without arranging the generating elements with highest density. When ten solar cells are arranged on a solar cell panel, three panels (S1, S2 and S3) are installed at right angle. In other words, the angle of light incident plane is set at 270 deg. between the panels S1, S2 and at 90 deg. between the panels S2, S3. This constitution generates a constant power regardless of the angle of elevation of sunlight. |
