<p>PURPOSE:To construct a network with high throughput per node by connecting the respective nodes so as to make the longest route of a cell transmitted among the nodes pass through one of the nodes for respective columns. CONSTITUTION:This network is provided with the nodes 00-33 of the asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) of (n) rows and (m) columns and the respective nodes 00-33 are connected so as to make the longest route of the cell transmitted among the nodes 00-33 pass through one of the nodes 00-33 for the respective columns. Thus, even the network has (n)X(m) pieces of the nodes 00-33, the number of the nodes sharing one ring is (m) pieces at most and the using band of the respective nodes is highly effectively maintained. Thus, the network capable of letting the respective nodes maintain the high throughput is obtained even when the number of nodes increases. Also, the nodes can be connected in a matrix shape.</p> |
