PURPOSE:To obtain a pulse input measurement device in which additional processing of pulse count is conducted during or after power failure even on the occurrence of power failure. CONSTITUTION:In the pulse input measurement device provided with a CPU 3 for counting pulses, a memory 4 connected to the CPU 3 and storing the number of pulses, a clock 5 used to detect a pulse interval and a power failure time, and a power supply 6 backing up power for the clock 5 and the memory 4 for the power failure, the CPU 3 is provided with a pulse interval measurement function measuring and storing the pulse interval before power failure, a power failure time measurement function measuring the power failure time after restoration of power failure, a missing pulse calculation function calculating the number of missing pulses during power failure period based on the pulse interval measurement function and the power failure time measurement function, and a pulse addition function adding the number of pulses calculated by the missing pulse calculation function to each counter. |
