PURPOSE:To secure sufficient performance for each purpose at the time of using the same light emission source for auxiliary light for reducing a red-eye effect phenomenon and detecting a focus. CONSTITUTION:A lamp 10 is used as the same light emission source for the auxiliary light for reducing the red-eye effect phenomenon and detecting the focus, a microcomputer 19 detects the ON of a switch 20 by the first stroke of the depressing of the release switch of a camera and when sufficient object luminance is obtained by a sensor 23, the output voltage of 4V of a reference voltage generator 13 is applied to the lamp 4 and it is lighted to detect the focus. When the microcomputer 19 detects the ON of a switch 22 linked with an external switch for changing over a red-eye effect phenomenon reducing function, the output voltage of 3V of a reference voltage generator 14 is applied to the lamp 10 and it is lighted with reduced brightness and when the ON of a switch 21 by the second stroke is detected, the lamp 10 is tuned off after two seconds. |
