<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the assembly time of a device for expanding/contracting offset of a cable laid along a bridge and improve the strength of the device by constituting a frame which connects frames at trough sections with a frame at a crest section in such a way that one sides of members installed across cables and members installed along the cables are perfectly fixed and the other sides of the members crossing the cables are not fixed, but put on the members installed along the cables on the same side of the cables. CONSTITUTION:A device for expanding/contracting offset of cable laid along bridge is composed of frames 1 and 5 at left and right trough sections, a frame 3 at a central crest section, and lines 2 and 4 connecting the frames 1, 3, and 5 with each other and the frames 1, 3, 5 are connected to the lines 2 and 4 with rotatable connecting sections 6. Members 2c and 4c installed across cables are perfectly fixed to members 2b and 4b on one side and put on members 2a and 4a on the other side. Therefore, when the members 2c and 4c shrink, the members 2c and 4c slide on the members 2a and 4a. Accordingly, the number of the rotatable connecting sections can be reduced to the utmost and the device can be constituted in a completely fixed structure. Therefore, the assembling time of this device can be shortened and the strength of the device can be improved, because the device can easily be assembled.</p> |
