The enclosure (10) has grooves (12, 13) opposite each other on its sidewalls (11) enabling a drawer (2) to slide in and out for maintenance of constant temp. in the interior. The drawer is a rectangular parallelepiped with cryogenic fluid or snow in a central space (20) connected by tube to a valve (29). A sensor (28) mounted externally on the underside of the drawer communicates via a capillary tube with the valve which controls the outflow of gas so as to maintain the temp. at the desired level. The central space is refilled through a supply valve (31) and protected by a safety valve (30).
