PURPOSE:To provide a CD-ROM duplicating device having a device for inhibiting illegal duplication of a master disk, in a CD-ROM duplicating device capable of performing CD-ROM duplicating within a shorter time compared with the conventional case and capable of duplication on a plurality of CD-Rs. CONSTITUTION:A master side duplicating device 100 is provided with a CD-ROM drive 10, a buffer 22 for storing data read bit by bit from CD-ROM and a CPU board 21 and a slave side duplicating device 200 is provided with a plurality of CD-R drives 260. Each time a certain quantity of data is read from CD-ROM and stored in the buffer, the data is written in each CD-R. When there is not duplication prohibiting information in a master disk in this CD-ROM duplicating device, the master disk is forcibly ejected by an eject device. |
