PURPOSE:To attain a pleasant and safe driving by providing a sound volume increase means gradually increasing a sound volume outputted from a speaker when an interrupt signal is generated to the equipment so as to relieve the load of the driver for sound volume control attended with automatic changeover of a sound source. CONSTITUTION:When a tuner unit 3 confirms an interrupt signal, a control circuit 9 stops Q reproduction unit 4 based on the result of detection and provides the output of a display number to a display section 8n in which production of interrupt is displayed and also provides the output of a switching signal to a sound source changeover circuit 6 so as to allow the circuit 6 to replace a sound output from the unit 4 with the sound output of the unit 3 in order to sound traffic information from speakers 5, 5. (Furthermore, the control circuit 9 provides the output of a sound volume increase signal to an operation section 7 so as to allow the section 7 to gradually increase linearly the sound volume of the traffic information sounded from the speakers 5, 5 with respect to time. The driver uses a sound volume adjustment switch to stop the increase in the sound volume when the sound volume of traffic information reaches a desired level. |
