发明名称 BEARING USING COMPRESSIVE FORCE SENSOR AND ITS ADJUSTMENT METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE: To properly and speedily adjust a bearing by furnishing a force sensor to monitor applied force on the bearing on a back surface of a race of which force directed in the axial direction is applied. CONSTITUTION: A small diametrical end helically engraved from an end part of a columnar bearing pedestal and on which a groove 17 in the axial direction is formed is projected in the axial direction in a spindle 2 forming a part of a suspension system of an automatic travelling vehicle. Additionally, a hub on which a load ring, a brake drum, etc., are fixed is axially supported free to rotate by a bearing 8 fitted and layered on the pedestal of the spindle 2. The bearing 8 has a cone 34, a cup 36 and a tapered roller 38 arranged in a single circumferential row and is slip off prevented through a washer 48 by screwing of a nut 46. In this case, a force sensor 52 to monitor size of force transmitted in the axial direction through the washer 48 is provided on an end surface of the washer 48, and fastening force of the nut 46 is adjusted so that the bearing 8 most favourably works under a light preload.
