PURPOSE:To reduce the upstream document generation man-hour, to shorten the generation time and to realize a timely business development at the time of developing a product so as to effectively use time. CONSTITUTION:The document generation device generates an upstream document such as a product advertisement document for sales expansion based on a downstrem document such as a product function exposition. A downstream document input device 11 to which the downstream document 21 is inputted, an information extraction device 12 extracting diagram and sentence, which are required for the upstream document 22, from the content of the downstream document 21, a document elaboration device 13 elaborating the extracted diagram and sentence and a layout execution device 14 generating the upstream document by executing layout in accordance with a routine format as against the elaborated diagram and sentence are provided. |
