PURPOSE:To uniformige the image quality of each image pattern and to save manpower as much as possible with reduced deterioration in image quality by changing the image quality for every image pattern like a parameter for an exposure based on a memory table previously obtained by an experiment. CONSTITUTION:A manpower saving level signal 120 for a manpower saving level is set in a printer controller 102 before recording is started and the result is inputted to the memory tables 122 and 124. In the memory table 122, information that how the parameter for a transfer, fixing, etc., is set is obtained by experiment and inputted in advance, in accordance with the manpower saving level signal 120. Moreover, in the memory table 124, the set information of the parameter for an exposure method is obtained by experiment and inputted in advance in accordance with the power saving level signal 120 and an image pattern signal 125. The exposure condition of an electrophotographic device 103 is changed by the parameter. Thus, the image quality of the output image is changed for every image pattern. |
