PURPOSE:To perform control of an automatic control device with which a transmission is related by strictly detecting a state, wherein the transmission is in a neutral position or engaged with some gear, without increasing a kind of a switch part. CONSTITUTION:A transmission comprises a neutral switch 2 to electrically detect that a transmission shift shaft 1 is in a neutral position; and a gear-in switch 3 to electrically detect that the transmission shift shaft is in a gear-in position. When the transmission shift shaft 1 is in a neutral position, the neutral switch 2 and the the gear-in switch 3 are respectively brought into an ON-state. When a transmission is engaged with some gear, with the the neutral switch 2 and the gear-in switch 3 brought into an OFF-state, the state of the transmission is reported to a control circuit. |
