The door frame (P) closes against the metalwork (F) of the aperture. The extruded seal (3) is held to the edge of the aperture by the channel (10). As the door closes, its edge meets the seal at the point (30), and the lips (20, 11) are forced to close on the door edge. The closing door also abuts on the circular flexible section (K) to form an auxiliary seal for sound deadening.
