PURPOSE:To provide a constant output in an induction motor with no torque shock, instead of a small body size of a motor and an inverter. CONSTITUTION:An induction motor has two sets of one-layer concentric winding or two-layer lap winding independently in the same connection with six output terminals in three phases. Two inverters 2 and 3 are controlled by an inverter control unit 4 to generate output with the same phase in a low-speed rated output range, while the output with phases shifted by 180 deg. is generated in a high speed range, and the induction motor can be operated with pole change of 1 to 2. As a result, a maximum value in torque characteristics becomes higher in a high-speed range, and a lack in torque in a high-speed range is prevented without enlarging the body of the induction motor. Both inverters have the same output capacity with a divided body of a conventional one. |
