It is dried at 90 deg.C excluding surplus paste, and then it is sintered in hydrogen for at 1150 deg.C for 30min. MnNi3.7Mn0.4 Al0.3Co0.6 is smashed and it passes through a 300 mesh, and carboxymethyl cellulose two wt.% aqueous solution is added to make paste. This is charged in the said sintered substance, and is dried for one hour at 120 deg.C, and then it passes through a roller press where emboss processing is alloy electrode for the negative electrode of alkaline battery can be obtained.
