PURPOSE:To provide such a desk lamp easy to of pack in a compact state and free from excessive stress when kept in such a state. CONSTITUTION:A desk lamp consists of a board 1 from which a column 1A having a lighting switch at the upper part is extended and an arm 2 which is standingly provided at the upper end of the column 1A. A lighting device maibody 3 with a fluorescent lamp is mounted on the arm 2 so as to be rotationally moved to upward and downward directions via the second rotationally moving mechanism 10B and to approximately 90 deg. counterclockwises and approximately 180 deg. clockwise directions of the front of the arm 2 via a rotationally moving mechanism 6. In this way, the lighting device mainbody 3 is rotationally moved to be parallel to the arm 2 and then rotationally moved to an approximately 180 deg. counterclockwise direction to the front of the arm 2, resulting in more compact movement. No excessive stress occurs because a torsional coil spring is not so deformed. |
