PURPOSE:To provide a low-cost sunlight converging device with high converging and trapping ability by guiding sunlight entering a plural of lenses with the curved faces at the fronts to an optical fiber cable via a tapered guide portion. CONSTITUTION:Sunlight converged at a converging portion provided toward sunlight is conducted to a lighting portion set up in a room via a conducting portion formed with an optical fiber cable. In such a sunlight converging device, the converging portion contains a plural of lenses 11 toward sunlight. Each lens 11 has the curved face, concave or convex, at the front 11a, preferably a Fresnel loop 17 and a swollen curved face. A tapered guide portion 19 is formed behind the front 11a in one unit with the lens 11. The optical fiber cable 25 of the conducting portion is connected to the guide portion 19. Sunlight entering the lenses 11 is reflected from the periphery 19a of the guide portion 19, surely guided to the optical fiber cable 25 and converged efficiently and at a low cost without using a tracking device. |
