<p>PURPOSE:To provide a portable electronic apparatus of splash prevented structure by furnishing a seal plate of resilient material and water repellent sheet on a battery pack which is removably fixed to the apparatus, and furnishing a notch for volatilization of the generated gas. CONSTITUTION:A nickel-hydrogen battery pack 2 is equipped with a guide groove 9 for engaging a guide rail to be fixed removably to a portable electronic apparatus and is furnished with a seal plate 14 of resilient material and a water repellent seat 15. When the battery pack 2 is fixed to the electronic apparatus, for example a portable telephone set, the contacting surface with the body of the apparatus is sealed with the plate 14, while a seal against the slide part of the pack 2 with the apparatus body is generated by the surface tension of the sheet 15. The pack 2 is equipped with a notch 12 so that the gas generated from the pack 2 at charging is exhausted through the notch 12. Thus the apparatus can be constructed in a splash preventive structure.</p> |
