PURPOSE:To detect two rotary angular velocities around two shafts by one vibration gyro. CONSTITUTION:A square-pole-shaped vibrator 11 consisting of an elastic material is mounted and fixed on an enclosure 12 via a lamination-type piezoelectric element 13 and the vibrator 11 is vibrated in the longitudinal Z-axis direction by the lamination-type piezoelectric element 13. Then, a first piezoelectric element 16 is applied to a side surface 11a of the vibrator 11 and the vibration in a first direction, namely X-axis direction, which is vertical to the longitudinal direction of the vibrator 11 by the first piezoelectric element 16. Further, a second piezoelectric element 18 is applied to the side surface 11b of the vibrator 11 and the vibration in a second direction, namely Y-axis direction, which is vertical to the longitudinal direction of the vibrator 11 and is vertical to the first direction by the second piezoelectric element 18. |
