PURPOSE:To provide a jack in which additional installation of a contact piece for coming in contact with a sleeve fitting is unnecessary, plastic deformation of the contact piece is prevented, and poor contact with a sleeve fitting is also prevented. CONSTITUTION:A plate spring contact piece 32 functions as a contact piece for coming in contact with a sleeve fitting 8 before a plug is inserted, and functions as a contact piece for coming in contact with a sleeve electrode after the plug is inserted. The plate spring piece 32 for coming in contact with the sleeve fitting 8 is unnecessary to arrange in a narrow space for connecting with the sleeve fitting 8, thereby, a sufficiently long spring span is made possible. Elastic deformation of the spring piece is prevented and no gap to the sleeve fitting is produced to prevent poor contact.
