<p>PURPOSE:To provide a color liq. crystal display device capable of maintaining performance while suppressing the reduction of the light shielding rate of an electrodeposition color filter and capable of improving productivity and reducing cost. CONSTITUTION:Transparent electrode group formed on the transparent substrate of a first substrate are continuously formed in a Y direction at positions on the substrate opposing to additional capacitance electrodes 6 consisting of non- transparent electrodes, electrodes for gate signals 4, drain electrodes 5, electrodes for source signals 3 of a TFT part and pixel electrodes 7 on a second substrate and an electrodeposition film 1a is formed on them and a black film 2a is formed on the first substrate other than a part where the electrodeposition film 1a is formed. Since transparent electrodes forming the electrodeposition film 1a are made to be a shape continued in the Y direction, the black film 2a can be formed after the formation of the electrodeposition film 1a without using a photo-lithographic process to simplify a manufacturing process. Moreover, the light shielding rate equal to the case the black film is formed in a matrix shape is obtained.</p> |
