<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to fire efficiently a large layered block (a layered ceramic material) without generating an irregularity in a sintering of a debinder and ceramic. CONSTITUTION:A groove 11 is provided at a prescribed position (at least a part of a cutting position) on a layered block to form a connected group 14 of element blocks, the surface area of the group 14 is widened to fire the group 14 and at the same time, the group 14 subsequent to the firing is cut at the prescribed cutting position using a large cutting blade 9 of a thickness T2 thicker than the width W1 of the groove 11 in the group 14 subsequent to the firing and the part of the groove 11, which is formed at the cutting position, is cut along the groove 11 while the side surface of the groove 11 is ground by the blade 9 and internal electrodes 1 are made to expose at the ground surface of the groove 11, whereby element blocks 5 are cut off from the group 14.</p> |
