<p>PURPOSE:To provide a floating electric connector with an effective position displacement compensation mechanism and a suitable stopper. CONSTITUTION:A floating electric connector 10 capable of fitting to a bottom entry electric connector 30 has two pairs of upper and lower housings 11, 12 and a receptacle contact 13. The receptacle contact 13 includes a receptacle 14 supported in the upper housing 11 and acceptably forming a tab contact and a base body 17 forced to insert into the lower housing 12 for setting, and both are connected by a spring 15 so as to be capable of floating the upper and lower housings each other. A control part 22 for preventing the floating of the fitting surface side of the upper housing 11 is formed in the trunk 18 continuing to the spring 15, and engaging mechanisms 22, 23 for preventing the falling down of the upper housing 11 are formed in the upper and lower housing 11, 12.</p> |
