PURPOSE:To provide a connector for high speed signal transmission with less reflecting noise and cross talk noise and excellent high-speed signal transmission characteristics by making adjustment or coordination of characteristic impedance possible and having shield structure between signal wires. CONSTITUTION:A plug connector 11 is connected to a grounding pin header 13[G] and has a plug side grounding contact 14 positioning on the outside of a signal pin header 13[S] serving as the center. A socket connector 17 has a socket side signal contact 19 connecting to a signal line of a coaxial flat ribbon cable 25 and a socket side grounding contact 20 positioning the outside of the socket side signal contact 19 serving as the center. When the plug connector 11 and the socket connector 17 are coupled, a spring piece 21 of the socket side signal contact 19 is connected to the signal pin header 13[S] to constitute an inner axial part of the coaxial line path structure. |
