PURPOSE:To prevent a crimp failure. CONSTITUTION:A crimp terminal 2 is supplied to a prescribed crimping position P. The core wire end part of a covered cable 4 is supplied into the body part of the supplied crimp terminal 2. The core wire end part is corrected to a required state to be supplied. Consequently, even when the core wire end part is deformed or scattered in the peeling process of the covered cable 4 or the supplying process to the crimp position P, all the core wire end part can be surely housed in the body part of the crimp terminal 2. Thus, a crimp failure by the extrusion of the core wire end part from the crimp terminal 2 can be prevented. |
