PURPOSE:To form a barrier in high accuracy without adverse effect on characteristics of a plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION:A protection film 4 made of a dry film is formed on a glass board 1 except for portions for forming a barrier, and glass paste 5 for the barrier is repeatedly printed on the exposed part, where no protection film 4 exist, of the glass board 1, then the glass paste is stuck to the glass board 1 in a baking process, and at the same time the protection film 4 made of the dry film is burned out. Or the protection film is dissolved and removed before the baking process, then baking is conducted. A barrier 6 having a desirable shape is formed, and since the protection film 4 is not left on the glass board 1, adverse effect on characteristics of a plasma display panel is prevented. |
