TELEPHONE LINE MULTIPLIER INTERFACE

A telephone line multiplier interface detects a ringing pattern specific to an assigned telephone number associated with a telephone device connected to the interface, and routes the incoming call to the appropriate device. A single line status detector connected upstream of the device switches allows calls to be transferred from one device to another while "offhook", allows for other devices to be selectively disabled when one device is in use, and allows for selectively enabling a ringing function of the dialled device and other devices.
