A signal receiving circuit comprising a first P-channel amplifiying MOSFET and a first N-channel amplifying MOSFET to the gates of which positive-phase signals inputted through a pair of signal transmission lines are fed and a second P-channel amplifying MOSFET and second N-channel amplifying MOSFET to the gates of which negative-phase signals inputted through the transmission lines are fed. A first output signal is generated adjusting the gains of the first P-channel MOSFET and second N-channel MOSFET, and the amplitude of the signal lies in nearly the middle part of the operating voltage. A second output signal is generated adjusting the gains of the second P-channel MOSFET and first N-channel MOSFET, and the amplitude of the signal lies in nearly the middle part of the operating voltage. Therefore, various kinds of small-amplitude signals can be received using a sense amplifier having only a fixed operating range in a signal receiving circuit constituted in the above-mentioned way and a novel optimum system can be constructed by combining semiconductor integrated circuit devices having different small-amplitude interfaces.
|
