PURPOSE:To obtain a motor controller and a control method in which generation of noise is prevented when a motor in the downstream is driven. CONSTITUTION:The inverter 11 in a control means 12 is connected through a first lead wire 17a and a first relay 33 with a first motor 11. The first lead wire is connected through a second lead wire 17b and a second relay 34 with a second motor 12 and a control signal is transmitted or not transmitted from the control means through the relays to a motor. In such a motor drive controller, a third relay 35 is disposed in the way of the second lead wire and the third relay 35 is commanded to open when the first relay is commanded to close. Consequently, when the motor is driven, the motor drive signal is prevented from propagating to the upstream of the motor being driven due to interruption of an upstream motor from the inverter thus preventing generation of noise through driving of the motor. |
