PURPOSE:To make it easy to use a camera in either a manual or an automatic exposure mode by a smaller number of exposure displaying elements. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a camera which is provided with a manual exposure mode and an automatic exposure mode in which priority is given to an iris opening and which has an automatic exposure mode display 2 adjacent to a finder screen 1 within a finder visual field, an over exposure display 3, a proper exposure display 4, and an under exposure display 5; the cycle of flashing light of the over exposure display 3 and the under exposure display 5 are shortened more respectively as the difference between the exposure value calculated based on a measured light value and a standard exposure value becomes wider in the case the manual exposure mode is set and as the difference of the shutter speed from the speed available for photographing becomes wider in the case the automatic exposure mode is set. |
