<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly change the specification of pin function of a parallel interface for remote control in respect to a magnetic recording/reproducing device for the use of transmitting system, editing system, etc., for television broadcasting. CONSTITUTION:A layout storing memory 6 to register the function code is provided on a VTR 1, and the command to a VTR operating part 3 is generated based on the function code of the layout storing memory 6 at the time when the pin function of the parallel I/O interface 7 is realized by a system control part 2. By this procedure, the change of the pin function of the parallel I/O interface 7 is attained by only changing layout data of the layout storing memory 6. Thereby, the period until the time when the product is shipped in the case where the special specification is requested, is shortened, then the cost of the product is reduced. Also, when the change of the system constitution, periodical maintenance and repair are performed, the exchanging work with other VTR is easily attained.</p> |
